According to the Tampa Bay Times, there is currently legislation that would require a course on financial literacy. If Senate Bill 114 passes, high school students will be required to take a half-credit course as part of their graduation requirements. Named in memory of the late state senator, the Dorothy L. Hukill Financial literacy Act will require this course that will help students learn about money matters that will help prepare them for adulting. What do you think? Conduct some research and then create a social media post during April to celebrate Financial Literacy Month!
