According to the National Community Pharmacists' Association (NCPA), pharmacy benefit managers (PBM) have a non-transparent business model that can add hidden costs and lead to higher prices in prescription drugs. Did you know that PBMs are not currently regulated by the state and sometimes take advantage b billing health plans more for prescription drugs than the local pharmacist even charges?
